Brand new research suggests that a person’s APOE genetics contribute to case severity in COVID-19 infection.
***I misspoke in the video and said APOE2 increases risk of Alzheimer’s disease. That is incorrect. APOE2 is protective against Alzheimer’s but does increase risk of stroke and other cerebrovascular pathologies.***
